I thought healing meant finding a community. What I learned is that healing starts with designing yourself.

I Tried to Heal Quietly. It Didn’t Work.

After I was fired, I went quiet.

I thought silence would help me heal — but what it really did was isolate me.

Healing didn't happen when i hid.

It started when I began designing my way back to myself.

That's where the Self-Design Method came from — a process I created to help women move from emotional clutter to calm, creative focus.

This was my ‘I’m fine’ face. I wasn’t.

The Self-Design Method

Each step helped me rebuild structure in a season that felt uncertain.Think of it as a gentle framework for designing your life again — one small choice at a time.

  1. Empathize

I stopped running from my pain and learned to sit with it. Instead of pushing my emotions away, I listened to what they were trying to teach me.

  2. Define

I named what I actually needed. Not what the world expected from me — but what would truly help me feel grounded and safe.

  3. Ideate

I imagined new ways of living and working that supported my energy, not drained it. Journaling became my creative lab — a space to explore without judgment.

  4. Prototype

I tried gentle routines: morning pages, reflection walks, and end-of-day resets. Each one became a small experiment in clarity.

  5. Test

I followed what felt true and let go of what didn’t. That’s how rhythm returns — not from perfection, but from presence.

This isn’t just a process—it’s a comeback blueprint.

The Outcome

What started as survival slowly became design.

I stopped reacting to my life and began shaping it — with clarity, intention, and compassion.

That’s what I mean by Self-Design — building yourself back, one reflection at a time.
